Anthem LemonAid presented by Richmond Ford took place July 19-August 4, 2024.

In 2024, we raised over $219,000 to support local kids fighting cancer at Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU. We look forward to your support in summer 2025.

How it works

1. Register for free online

Registration closed Tuesday, July 16. You also received an online fundraising page that can be personalized with your story and sent to friends and family to boost your fundraising. The first 150 registrants received a commemorative lapel pin.

2. Follow us on Facebook @AnthemLemonAidRVA

Photos from your stand could be posted on the Facebook page.

3. Share your fundraising link

Post the link on your social media accounts and ask your contacts to support your fundraising efforts. Click this link to download the LemonAid social media toolkit.

4. Get your free supplies

Anthem LemonAid kit pick up took place on Wednesday, July 17th and Thursday, July 18th. All registrants received two pouches of lemonade mix, a pitcher, 100 cups, a banner, stickers and printed instructions for turning in funds.

Details about kit pick up were shared via email with registrants. Contact Vaughan Clark at vclark@chfrichmond.org with any questions.

5. Set up your stand

On Anthem LemonAid weekend set up your lemonade stand in your own front yard, your neighborhood pool, at your place of business or another high traffic area and sell cups of lemonade in exchange for donations.

Inclement weather update: Richmond is calling for rain and, in some areas, severe thunderstorms on Saturday, July 20 and Sunday, July 21. We're watching the weather forecast and have decided to extend Anthem LemonAid weekend until Sunday, August 4. Your online fundraising pages for Anthem LemonAid presented by Richmond Ford will remain active and funds raised will be due Friday, August 9. (This update was posted on Friday, July 19)

6. Your creativity may win a prize!
Enter your stand design into the Most Festive Stand contest. You can enter by emailing a photo to vclark@chfrichmond.org by August 9th. Sending a photo enters you for a chance to win a prize.

7. Submit your earnings

Once your fundraising is complete, please submit the money you collected by making an online gift through your personal fundraising page.

8. Help local kids

Feel proud knowing that 100% of your funds raised helps unstoppable kids with cancer at Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU.
